The FootJoy shoes you have purchased are made from the finest materials and are designed for comfort and durability. They are guaranteed for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase against failure or leaking due to a manufacturing or material defect.

In the event of a claim under this warranty, please return the shoes to the place of purchase together with a card WHICH MUST BE PRODUCED TO SUPPORT YOUR CLAIM.

Please note that when replacement shoes are provided, only the remaining portion of the warranty period from your original purchase date will be transferred to the replacements.

This warranty does not cover failure due to misuse, neglect, wilful damage or excessive wear.

Like many high quality products, FootJoy shoes will benefit from regular maintenance. By looking after FootJoy shoes in the ways outlined below, the comfort and performance of the shoe is preserved and the life of the shoe extended. Failure to do this may invalidate this warranty.

• Allow FootJoy golf shoes to dry naturally after becoming wet. Never “force dry” them near a fire or radiator as excessive heat will draw the natural oils from the leather causing it to become hard and brittle.

• During drying, we recommend the use of shoe trees to preserve the shoe’s shape.

• Remove mud and grass after every round and protect the leather with a good quality shoe polish.

• Please be aware that due to their construction, all waterproof shoes tend to be warmer. Please be sure not to misinterpret signs of perspiration as leakage.

• Always use a shoe horn to help your foot into the shoe. This will preserve the support in the heel and ankle areas of the shoe.

• Should your golf shoes be fitted with Softspikes cleats, please bear in mind that due to their greens friendly characteristics, Softspikes may not last as long as conventional spikes. In order to maintain their optimum traction, worn Softspikes should be replaced promptly. Always clean Softspikes when clogged with grass or debris.

• Never store your shoes in the boot of your car. The temperatures can cause the leather to shrink crack, turn brittle and uncomfortable. Separation of the sole from the upper may also result.
